Navigating the 200L First Semester Timetable

The New Standard: Timetable Autonomy

Engineering is built on systems and reliability. In line with this, a new directive has been issued for all 200-level students: class updates will no longer be manually posted. From this point forward, the official University of Benin Faculty of Engineering timetable is the primary source of truth for your daily schedule.

Before heading to campus, ensure you have reviewed your "system parameters" for the day to avoid missing critical lectures.

Weekly Course Breakdown

• Monday

The week kicks off with MEE211 / GET207 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM1. This is followed by ELA 201 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM2. The day concludes with CVE211 in the afternoon slot from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM3.

• Tuesday

The morning starts with EEE211 / GET201 at 8:00 AM4. At 9:00 AM, the schedule moves to GET205 / MEE361(CO) 5, followed by ENT211 at 10:00 AM6. Before the break, you have ECP281 / GET211 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM7. The afternoon session is dedicated to PRE211 starting at 2:30 PM8.

• Wednesday

Wednesday mimics the Monday start with MEE211 / GET207 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM 9, but includes ENT 211 specifically at the 9:00 AM hour10. ELA 201 runs again from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM11. The afternoon is split between EMA281 / GET209 at 2:30 PM and CVE211 at 3:30 PM12.

• Thursday

The morning is relatively open until EEE211 / GET201 at 10:00 AM13. This is followed by MEE 221 / GET203 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM14. The day wraps up with PRE211 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM15.

• Friday

Friday begins with CHE 211 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM16. You then have ECP281 / GET211 at 10:00 AM 17and EMA 281 / GRT 209 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM18. After the JUMAT break 19, the week concludes with GET205 / MEE361(CO) from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM20.

Operational Notes

• Daily Breaks: A standard break is observed from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM daily21.
• Friday Observance: On Fridays, the break accounts for JUMAT prayers between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM22.
• Updates: Manual updates will only be provided if there is a specific change of plan or a class cancellation.
